Candy Football Apples

Ingredients

  • 6 Apples
  • 12 oz Rainbow™ Cocoa Dark Confectionery Wafers
  • 4 oz Rainbow™ White Confectionery Wafers

Directions

  1. Wash and dry apples. Cut into wedges.
  2. Melt Cocoa Dark wafers according to handling instructions.
  3. Using dipping fork or tongs, dip each apple slice into melted coating. Tap to smooth and remove excess.
  4. Place on parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Chill until firm, about 10 minutes.
  6. Melt White wafers according to handling instructions.
  7. Transfer white coating into piping bags.
  8. Pipe laces and stripes onto each apple wedge to resemble the lines of a football.
