Edible Ice Cream Bowls

Ingredients

  • 12 oz each Rainbow Confectionery Wafers, assorted colors of your choice
  • Sprinkles of your choice
  • Ice Cream of your choice
  • Sundae Toppings of your choice (Hot Fudge, Whipped Cream, Cherries)
  • Balloons
  • Safety Pin or Needle

Directions

  1. Inflate a new clean balloon and tie it off.
  2. Melt confectionery wafers according to handling instructions.
  3. Place a dot of melted coating onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. This dot will serve as a base for the bowl, in order to keep it in place. Make sure to leave enough space between the dots to allow room for the balloons.
  4. Dip the balloon into the coating. Swirl it around a bit to completely coat the bottom of the balloon.
  5. Immediately add sprinkles if desired.
  6. Place the balloon, coating-side down, onto previously-made base on the baking sheet.
  7. Repeat process with other balloons until sheet is full. Let the balloons set for about 1 hour.
  8. Using a safety pin or needle, pop each balloon and remove from the bowl.
  9. Finish your bowls by scooping in ice cream. Top with desired toppings for the perfect sundae!
