Fall Frenzy Cereal Treats

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp Butter
  • 4 cups Miniature Marshmallows
  • 6 cups Crispy Rice Cereal
  • Fall Leaf-Shaped Cookie Cutters
  • 4 oz Rainbow™ Cocoa Dark Confectionery Wafers

For Decorating:

  • 4 oz Rainbow™ Orange Confectionery Wafers
  • 4 oz Rainbow™ Red Confectionery Wafers
  • 4 oz Rainbow™ Yellow Confectionery Wafers
  • Fall Sprinkles

Directions

  1. In large saucepan, melt butter over low heat.
  2. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.
  3. Add crispy rice cereal. Stir until well coated.
  4. Cut Cocoa Dark wafers into small pieces and add to mixture. Stir.
  5. Using buttered spatula or wax paper, evenly press mixture into 13” x 9” x 2” baking pan coated with cooking spray. Let cool.
  6. Using leaf cookie cutters, cutout cereal mixture into treats.
  7. For decorating, melt colored confectionery wafers in separate bowls according to handling instructions.
  8. Transfer melted coating to piping bag and drizzle over cut treats.
  9. Immediately top with sprinkles as desired.
