New Year’s Eve Haystacks
Ingredients
- 4 cups Chow Mein Noodles
- 1/2 cup Cocktail Peanuts
- 1/2 cup Marshmallows
- 12 oz Rainbow™ Superwhite Confectionery Wafers
For Decorating:
- Gold and/or Silver Metallic Food Spray
- Gold and/or Silver Sugar Crystals
- Gold and/or Silver Candy Ball Sprinkles
- Gold and/or Silver Star Sprinkles
Directions
- Line a large baking sheet with wax or parchment paper and set aside.
- Add the noodles, peanuts, and marshmallows together in a mixing bowl and stir to combine. Set aside.
- Melt Superwhite wafers according to handling instructions. Remove from heat and allow to cool for 1 minute.
- Pour the melted wafers on top of the peanuts and noodles and gently toss to coat completely.
- Drop by spoon or cookie scoop onto the lined baking sheet in the shape of “haystacks.”
- Lightly spray each haystack with the food spray.
- Immediately sprinkle with sugar crystals, candy balls, and/or star sprinkles as desired.
